How Steve Jobs grew his Apple tree

Apple's business success came from innovation, marketing and special initiatives to their sales and marketing force. They used information technology (IT) sector as their weapon. They had attractive ads and lots of internet publicity and tried to reach to everyone. Furthermore, Steve Jobs had that managerial power to use the right person in the right place at the right time. They knew the demand of the time and what people wanted form them. Every creative idea is appreciated in everywhere, and that’s the way Apple is a big apple now. They has desktop (Macintosh), laptop (macbook), iPhone, iPad (Tablet pc), and several kinds of iPods (music player) and everywhere has a great footprint of using new technology. There are might be thousands of similar products in the market but why do we buy Apple? When I bought my first Apple iPhone I saw in the ad that, if you move your iPhone the little ball on the screen moves on iPhones moving path. That was the first touchscreen phone what got such media coverage.


An Apple store employee is required to use all the product information like, how long the product is available, how many available for the customers, how the marketing department dealt with the market about the product, new features of the new product etc. to know how many the need or they need to product information to answer the customers. Apple executives use the information, about the demand and the supply chain, if every sector of the company is working in a proper way or not.
 


The type of information that has a negative impact on apple's operations is: they are very conservative about in company information distribution. Sales department does not share information with purchase department, they only shares the certain information what sales or purchase department cannot go without. That might be their company policy but it is kind of harmful if they don’t share the marking department the proper information.
